Apple Watch owners can now read, reply and manage WhatsApp chats without needing their iPhone. WhatsApp has launched an official Apple Watch app with messaging and voice support.
The App comes with core WhatsApp features and functionality, like voice message recording, emoji reaction and call notifications.
The WhatsApp app on the Apple Watch requires a Series 4 watch or newer version running watchOS 10.
Meta, the owner of WhatsApp, confirmed that all conversations and calls will remain end-to-end encrypted and that more features will be added in future updates.
