Resend adds Inbound feature for webhooks-based email

Resend has introduced a new feature called Inbound, making it possible for businesses to receive and manage incoming emails through their platform. With Inbound, when an email comes in, Resend processes the information and delivers it to a location of your choice. This means teams can instantly access email content, important details about the message, and any files that were attached.

All messages and attachments are automatically saved, even if your system isn’t ready to receive them right away. You can use addresses that Resend provides or set up customised email addresses to better reflect your brand.

If the technical setup isn’t in place yet, rest assured—all your emails are safely stored and can be retrieved later. Through the Resend dashboard, anyone can easily search, view, and organise received emails, see them in different formats, and preview attachments. Typical ways businesses might utilise this feature include enabling customers to reply directly within the app, supporting customer service ticketing, or automating document processing. This makes handling inbound communication much easier and more reliable for non-technical teams.
